India's apparel exports in 2010 is expected to reach 11 billion U.S. dollars

 HC clothing online apparel exports of India in December the first time in nine months to reach 1.1 billion U.S. dollars mark for a single month, the Indian Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) therefore predicted that the current financial year, India's apparel exports may reach 110 billion mark.

2010 the first four months show growth of garment exports in April fell 3.1% -12 months.

Udani said, adding that India is among the few have a complete textile value chain, one of the countries, all of these factors are quite favorable to India.

He added that signing with Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) will contribute to India's garment exports. Indian apparel exports to Japan up nearly 50%.

PremalUdani said, in anticipation of the signing of CEPA agreement, Apparel Export Promotion Council of India in 2009 & 2010, Tokyo International Fashion Fair organized a large-scale fashion show.
